Who says the economy is in a recession? Hey, we are slowly recovering! Or better yet, we have recovered already. This is considering the figure sales that Apple is purporting to have sold. According to Apple they have sold 2 million iPads already in less than 60 days. Wow!
Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple which is a fast-growing company located in Cupertino, California, said that since its launch on April 3, 2010, the product have never failed to amaze them with figures as it continues to amaze consumers. The iPad had reached Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK these past weeks and will be available in more than nine countries by July and in most countries as we face the end of this year.
iPad which is only half inches thin and 1.5 pound weight lighter than any laptop or netbook makes users connect with applications, content and internet easier with more excitement more than ever. They can surf the web, exchange multimedia, check emails, read ebooks, play the media player, watch videos in high-resolution and play games. It can work up to ten hours of battery life.
Apple started with the Apple II, and continued with the Macintosh personal computer. They are also famous for the OS X operating system, iLife, iWork, iPods, iTunes, iPhone and App Store, and now the multi-touch screen iPad which is a new definition of mobile media and computing devices.
If Apple is telling the truth then, “bravo” Apple! It seems they’re walking the talk after they were slated as number one in the computer technology industry. Or are they just saying this to boost their morale against competitors? It’s good that they’re not giving us too many figures anymore just straight and direct easy-to-understand statements. This rise in iPad demand is not only indicative of the manufacturer company’s success but a reflection of the extensive call to drive the country to progress. And it sure looks like we’re getting there!
