‘When the giants collide’
According to ESPN Maverick’s Ace Player Dirk Nowitzki and the Rockets’ Big Guy’ Carl Landry collided that resulted with a serious injury – Landry having his five teeth cracked and Dirk getting stitches on his right elbow on a usual Friday Night NBA showdown
Landry was taken to the medical room to be examined for the gravity of the injury his teeth incurred
There were still remnants of the teeth of Landry stuck in the elbow of Nowitzki – It took 30 minutes for the paramedics to remove the foreign material before administering the German-import NBA player to the medical room for X-ray analysis.
Nowitzki and Landry left the Rockets’ 116-108 overtime victory.
Marc J. Spears of Yahoo NBA Writer Tweeted this message during the bliss of the accident:
“mavs EXTREMELY worried about dirks deep cut with broken teeth in it. while cuban optimistic, uncertain how long he will be out.”
