Surprise, surprise, after the much talked about Marge Simpson Playboy cover, Chelsea Joy Handler, the late-night talk show host of Chelsea Lately was revealed to have posed as the cover girl of Playboy. We don’t know yet how the deal transpired between Uncle Hef (Hugh Hefner) and the stand-up comedian but reports confirmed that Ms. Handler will be Playboy’s December issue cover bunny. Thankfully, she isn’t nude as rumors claimed!
Jay Leno was the first to break the surprising news during Chelsea’s visit to The Jay Leno Show. Earlier, Jay got to a phone conversation with Hugh Hefner – Playboy’s owner- if he (Jay) could get an “advance” copy of Playboy’s December issue. We all know Jay and his powerful friends, in short, uncle Hef gave him a copy.
Jay surprised Chelsea with a blow-up picture of the Playboy’s cover, featuring the Chelsea Lately host standing in some man-made snow while wearing a skimpy white bikini and tall white cushy boots.
No one can’t access the video clip of the Wednesday night show at of Jay Leno except E! online. There were a couple who successfully uploaded it earlier but were immediately deleted due to copyright issues. E! online featured the report and video clip on The Jay Leno Show interview with Chelsea Hander.
We’ll leave you with Chelsea Handler’s playboy partner on that issue, Joana Krupa. Perhaps, Ms. Krupa should have been the cover girl right?

What do you mean "thankfully, she isn't nude as rumors claimed!"? Sure, she's no JoAnna Krupa or your usual run of the mill Playboy bunny, but in my opinion personality and a sense of humor go a whole hell of alot farther than just looks alone. And, THANKFULLY, Ms. Handler has both of those..and isn't too bad on the eyes to boot.
If you have watched her show or seen any of her standup acts, you know that she doesn't think of herself as "hot" or that the world revolves around her, unlike alot of the other bunnies or celebrities you see in Playboy. I would love to see Playboy continue to do fun stuff with their mags! (Other than just slap a bunch of makeup on average to cute girls and give guys something to beat it to, of course.) Yay Hef!

Ha ha! Too funny! I love Chelsea Handler and her show, Chelsea Lately. Damn, I have super long days and usually don't have time to even think about winding down until right when her show comes on and let me tell you what, it's a great way to un-wind. She is freaking hilarious! Awww..but what about her little nugget, Chuy?! Ha ha..where's he at?!?

Gotta say..I agree with "latelydoneright". I have a subscription to "Playboy" and yes, I am a guy, and I can't wait for this copy. I think Chelsea is a very attractive lady, but not in the "slutty" sense. "Playboy" is usually tastefully done, however there are the occasional issues that are just tacky, and the girls in them would be maybe a little cute if they weren't doused in so much God awful makeup. Who knew Chelsea had such a bangin body under all those clothes she wears on her show.

Chelsea : WoW Its going to be ''hard'' to wait,to see her naked. She drops hints on her show about her love to drink and l don't mean water. She also intends to get it ALL in bed every nite,while her age permites and her parts are still HOT.

That one"updated" nude pic has nothing to do with Playboy. It is old from some fashion magazine where several female tv actresses/hosts posed nude. That was several months ago.

Wow, I have to say the author of this article really irratates me… Why would we prefer the more fake looking chick on the cover? Was that truly a neccessary statement… And thank god she doesn't get naked? I'm just going to pretend that was stated because you respect her so much you would hate to see that. By the way, thanks to photoshop, Playboy can make anyone look hot.
