All are set for the much awaited comeback of the proud, loud and undefeated boxing star Floyd Mayweather Jr. on Sept. 19 against the Mexican Juan Manuel Marquez. The fight will be the first for Mayweather since his 18 month “vacation” leave out of the ring.
Everyone is excited for this much anticipated fight of the year following Manny Pacquiao and Ricky Hatton’s bout. HBO covered the training cycles, both Mayweather and Marquez, as part of its TV program. Everything is normal until Marquez spilled his bizarre and extraordinary training regimen.
Marquez told HBO that among other things he does (to prepare for this fight) are lifting rocks in the mountains, visits a hyperbaric chamber, eats raw quail eggs and drinks his own Urine (yuck! where in the world did he get that??).

I don’t know what got into this guy’s brain to do that. But alright, Marquez felt that he is the reincarnation of Rocky Balboa, lifting rocks could be too barbaric but that is plausible, so as eating raw eggs and visiting a “hyperbaric chamber” (search Wikipedia to know what it means) but drinking your own Pee? (even Rocky wouldn’t dream of doing that).
This guy is so full of it. He mentioned that all vitamins, minerals and proteins are wasted on his urine so… why not “drink it” instead of wasting? (nice common sense man). He treats it as an “energy” booster, so far this is the WORST kind We heard.
If you’ll ask the experts, drinking your own urine isn’t fatal at all. I always remember this show “Man vs. Wild” whenever the topic of urine is raised. The host, Bear Grylls, show you ways how to survive on any places. One method he did to survive in the desert was by drinking his own urine.
Just look at the expression of his face.
We hope all of these “extreme” training cycles by Marquez would payoff on the ring once he faces Floyd Mayweather Jr.
But We really can’t imagine what would be Floyd Jr. and Senior’s faces would look like once they heard this news.
Of course, it should be worse than these.
