The Japanese electronic giant Sony has successfully created a new, slimmer, lighter and cheaper PS3 Slim with the same powerful components from its “fat” brother. According to news articles, new Playstation console would be available at 299 bucks, wow what a ripped! According to Engadget’s blog article, PS3 units would have an increase of 40-60% on sales of PS3 consoles on September when PS3 Slim hit the market.
Alright, those are the good parts. We admit Sony has done an amazing job creating this wonderful piece of “art”. But we were shocked to discover this Japanese video commercial released from Sony’s Home base.

What the heck these japanese were thinking while composing this creepy video? Do you know what they were trying to relay?
From what we searched, it was like the Japs were trying to express “what your face would look like while playing the new game console”. Yeah right, but there are other ways to represent it… Is this the best way they could think off?
I could still remember the jingle Microsoft “handpicked” for their newest search engine BING. That one could give your little Joey the creeps. Whenever I see that Ad jingle, I always remember the entrance song of the TV series The X-files.
Bonus “weirdness”
This Sony PS3 slim commercial clip wasn’t the “lone ranger” of Japan’s Weird Video Collections. From food to home equipments, games and even exercise video ads the Japs expressed their bizarre side.

As a bonus, we will let you see this weird Japanese video exercise featuring bunch of people in Poodle costumes and a girl trainer in a “disturbing” Poodle suit.
Perhaps, Jap videographers and composers were thinking of getting more audiences “struck” by these advertisements. Well, they were very right. However, the end result was far from disappointing. This video surely gives me the CREEPS!
