Now, it seems paypal is the omnipotent GOD when it comes to money transfer. But why do you hear RANTS created by individuals claiming they were fooled once again by paypal or a commotion that paypal is scamming them all the time?
As I have said before, I will show you guys the two sides of the coin. So here are the other reasons you should have considere before using paypal.
Free is a lie
Well joining paypal is for FREE, creating account is for FREE but when it’s time to send money for the first time, you need to verify your account first and yes, it’s not for free!. Paypal needs you to confirm your bank account first, so what they do is to automatically deduct (at least 2 dollars) in your bank account you used when you registered on paypal. Paypal will send a 4-DIGIT-PIN-CODE for authenticating that transaction. You need to confirm that code with your BANK ACCOUNT and type it in your paypal account to confirm your bank account is really existing and you are the original user of that account and not someone else.
Don’t worry, the 2 dollars taken from your account will be REFUNDED to you 100% once your ACCOUNT is activated.
Paypal agents suck big time
Paypal manages 160 million accounts and there are other million of user who are making inquiries about paypal from simple questions like, “WHY SHOULD I USE PAYPAL?” to a more complicated queries like, “WHY DID YOU DISABLED MY ACCOUNT!”. There’s a high probability that emailing a paypal agent will not help you completely. You need to call them.
That’s why Paypal has a TOLL FREE NO. 1-888-221-1161. And you can talk to paypal agents between office-hours to settle your problem with them. Also you can use Skype if your telephone service provider doesn’t support toll free calls.
Paypal can freeze your account instantly
Yes this can happen, but it will occur more to people who forgot to follow the terms and policies of paypal. The usual reasons are:
You haven’t added any credit card in your account
You haven’t verified your 4-DIGIT PIN for your account.
Your way of SENDING money is SUSPECTED to be against the POLICIES of PAYPAL.
Your way of RECEIVING money is SUSPECTED to be against the POLICIES of PAYPAL.
You have done something ILLEGAL.
You manage to CREATE DUPLICATE accounts and now PAYPAL DETECTS IT… and then you are TOAST!
You haven’t responded to DISPUTE or CLAIMS filed by your BUYER/SELLER.

Paypal inconveniences
If your account is INACTIVE you will instantly become a sitting DUCK and all paypal services for your account will be disabled. You really need to contact CUSTOMER SUPPORT to settle this issue.
Paypal is UNFAIR
Yes, sadly sometimes, when you and your other end of the deal got into a conflict and both of you sends credible evidence why you should receive back your money/product and not the other way around. In this case, Paypal will be the judge for 90 DAYS. They will review both your claims and judge both of the evidences you submitted. Individuals with the most credible evidence submitted to defend their statement has the advantage of getting the favor of paypal’s decision.
The question is: If you know someone is only sending fake evidences, will you allow these people to outwit you? You, of all the people should understand that you have the most credible evidence. Remember paypal can detect what is fake and what is authenticated. The only question now is, Did you send strong evidences to paypal? or you just cry inside your room doing nothing? and let the scammer get away?
My wrap up: In my personal experience, I have some negative comments too about paypal, but those comments are nothing compared to what I might have lost, if I did not chose paypal for all my money transactions done online.
So far 160 million accounts are actively using PAYPAL. Numbers are rising, any chance these millions of people didn’t researched first if paypal was safe or not? YOU BET THEY DID! and they still chose PAYPAL!
Remember: Microsoft word, a document editing application created by windows and is now currently used by billions of people around the globe. Still when you search it in google lots of users are still complaining up to this day that MS-Word SUCKS BIG TIME?
In this online arena, you need to judge who you will believe. Is it the single sided individuals who think only for themselves or the majority of people?
Paypal is not perfect. That’s why it’s trying to do what is necessary to live with the expectations of its users.
My own comments to PEOPLE who DISLIKE PAYPAL is this one
Are you offering any alternative for money-transferring other than paypal? Is that alternative better than the former? I guess the result will be hundred times more disastrous!
Well, it’s your call now to decide.

I like your random, unsourced quotes. Lends the article a good feel.
For a nice alternative, try http://www.merchantinc.com/
It just works directly with your own account, unlike PayPal, which not only holds your money for you, but is not held any standard bank rules.
Check out some horror stories here: http://www.paypalsucks.com/
And, as Mike said, 2 to the 128th power is nowhere near 388 trillion, or 3.88*10^14.
2 to the 128th power is roughly 3.4 x 10^38. You're off by a factor of 876 sextillion.
