It never occurred  to us that even Barbie dolls now can become supernatural creatures. Much more a Vampire! Well, if it’s the new vogue in town, we’ll just keep our “bizarre” comments to ourselves rather than having a bite from Mattel’s newest twilight barbies.

Yes, you heard it right! Mattel toys the company who is responsible for bringing BARBIE dolls to our realm is releasing their newest collection of twilight barbie dolls on October 20, 2009. The featured dolls will be having Robert Pattinson’s outline as “barbie edward” and the figure of kristen stewart as “barbie Bella”. This release will be for ages 6 years above. So even twilight-kiddo’s wouldn’t cry if they see their big-bro’s or sis fondling with their new twilight-dolls.

If you are feeling a little bit itchy, ToysRus had already released twilight dolls (not the barbie collection). A 7-incher edward and Bella dolls and a Twilight Tonner collector doll for Edward Cullen and Bella swan.

Now we can’t see clearly, why the release of the new Twi-barbies should be on October? Are they too special than the old twi-dolls they already released? Or perhaps they are aiming for an ALL-OUT sale, ‘coz you and I both know that the release of the Twilight: New Moon movie will be on 1st week of November.
