We can’t help but to be amazed on a video surfacing the Facebook-community for weeks now. The title of the clip is “Stunning Cheerdance” or “Amazing Cheerdance”. So we do a little digging on where this video originated, in hopes to demystify it once and for all.
A lead from youtube says, this video originated way back two years ago (2007) from a South-Korean Samsung company that’s promoting a new brand of cellphone called “anycall” and they made a cheerdance ceremony out of their rookie employees, of course joining was voluntary, Even so, the event manages to get thousands of participants.
What’s so special with this video is that the coordination is like nothing we have seen before even in the past olympics. This performance literally wowed the viewers from all parts of the world. The whole video was so amazing that it brough half a million viewers on youtube alone. Anyway that link was a blurry one; Thankfully someone made a follow-up upload after some months.
Here’s the clearest video we’ve seen. Enjoy and relive the moment of the south-koreans uniting!
Actually while watching the video, we can’t help reminiscing asian-anime’ opening songs like Dragon Ball Z.
If you will look at the first-minute mark of the cheerdance. The timing and coordination is just so insane that it made other viewers believed that it was just a computer-generated acrobat! Which was proven to be false, by viewers in youtube who have read articles prooving this acrobat was genuine.![]()
If you’re wondering what are the songs being played on the video. Here they are on chronological order.
1st song – “Go West” –Lazybone (korean)
2nd song – “Strong Wind Highway” -Yoo Jeong Seok
3rd song - “Kang-Kang”
4th song - “Worldcup Song” -Clone (korean 2002 world cup)
5th song – “Modern Talking” -Ready for the Victory
We would also like to include that year 2007 seems to be the time wherein those kind of mind-blowing performance erupted. See this video from south-koreans cheering their soccer team!
According to the uploader:
South korea boys’ high schools cheering for their soccer teams. the most amazing thing is that they do this with their CLOTHES (not holding up cards). they have a jacket that is one color on the back, one on the front, and that they can open or close to show a third color shirt on the inside. the one school has also figured out how to use their pants to make shading.
Imagine, just using your flip-flop jackets and pants to create that human-LCD? Simply amazing!
So what do you think! Do you want these acrobats to be included on the 2012 London Olympics?
