Do we have the next best thing after MJ (Michael Jordan) in Vince Carter? I’m keeping my fingers crossed on that really! For most of you who have not seen this one hell of a shot from VC I have a video below that you can check out. This video was not edited whatsoever so you just have to believe what your eyes will be seeing once you watch the video.
I hope Vince Carter’s teammate Dwight Howard is not all upset when his record of shooting as far as 56 feet was broken by VC’s 86 feet shot while seating on the court! So what the normal reaction of the masses about this crazy shot by Vince? Of course everybody went online looking for the record breaking shot of Vince and recently this video has already gathered 122,161 and counting!
This all happened during the Orlando Magic practice, so basically Vince is just tripping when he threw the ball at 86 feet away from the ring and unexpectedly went in! Yes I know it’s certainly insane, add the fact that Dwight just had the title of ‘the longest shot while sitting’ on the Guinness Book of World Records for ten days! Now nothing is official yet, meaning no word yet from Guinness Book of World Records if this shot by Vince is a sure shot that will erase Dwight’s record.
Eighty six feet is pretty far, it’s actually the length of the whole basketball court (well almost)! Wait… what is this we are hearing that somebody is actually planning to beat Carter’s 86-foot shot? Should we expect that Vince record will not linger long enough at the Guinness Book of World Records because just like Dwight’s shot it will be defeated soon too?
Oh well I can’t wait to see who ever that dude is, but I’m smelling Matt Barnes is planning to engrave his name on Guinness Book of World Records for the title ‘longest shot while sitting’ and when I say engrave, nothing and no one can erase it! I just heard that Barnes will surprise us with his 150 feet shot! So will it be a success? Oh well no one knows for sure but we can always wait.
