Last week, four singers were eliminated from the show, including Lambert, Katelyn Epperly, Todrick Hall, and Lilly Scott.
The fans argued with the idea of sending home their idol so early well in fact he is much more talented compared to any other contender that belongs to the top 12. The bold movement by Alex Lambert fans through massive campaigning is to get as many signatures as possible in support of Alex Lambert. As of this writing, the Alex Lambert petition already gathered 7,197 signatures from fans supporting Lambert.
The top 12 singers will advance to the American Idol season nine finals next week. And fans of Lambert eagerly hope that their idol will still make it to the finals despite being eliminated already. One fan in Jessica Bongiorno, created an Alex Lambert petition to try and convince American Idol to bring Lambert back to the show next week.
Many believe that it will be a long-shot that Fox would listen to this Alex Lambert petition. Some believes that their cries are next thing to impossible but it’s still great initiative being shown by the fans.

i hope he will be back because he is too unique. compare him with others that do not belong to the top 12. its almost 10000, the signatures are huge now. are you sure 10000 people arent voting? you got to be kidding me. bring him back! shame on you american idol if you dont bring him back!
I tried voting for Alex Lambert but couldn't get through all the busy signals and lines; if he is brought back on I would be sure that AI got my votes. If he's not brought back on, I am not watching anymore.
