Posted by The heat goes on for the Annual American Music Awards 2009. Now being aired live via ABC channel straight from the Nokia Theatre where the actual awarding ceremony is being held. The said Music Awards was produced by Larrry Klein and executive-produced by Orly Adelson. Traditionally, the award night is filled with the best lineups of music artists and has always been inundated with cheers from millions of fans around the globe.
Today’s nominees are very interesting, not to mention the late iconic pop-legend, Michael Jackson is there to grab the Male artist and favorite album in the pop/rock and soul/R&B categories for his greatest-hits collection, “Number Ones.” The other line up include (in no particular order), Janet Jackson, Chris Daughtry, Shakira , Kelly Clarkson plus Eminem who gathered four nominations: Pop/rock male artist and rap/hip-hop artist and album for “Relapse,”. USA’s sweetest country-cutie, Taylor Swift is also nominated for female artist and favorite album in the pop/rock and country categories.She will be up for the favorite adult-contemporary artist as well.
Oh, a good match-up will be MJ vs Swift for the artist of the year awards. Amazing: looking back at Swift’s skyrocketing career after that VMA outburst with USA’s “jack-ass” celebrity, Kanye West, up to her hilarious SNL performance last 2 weeks. Who would have thought she will be reaping this much honor at this early stage of her career? And btw, she is only 19!
