Posted by TV series True Blood’s real life sweethearts have tied the knot and exchanged “I Do”s in a sunset Malibu beach wedding on August 21, 2010. A year ago, the announcement of Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer’s engagement spread in the news. They have been dating since 2007, when they started filming the vampire TV series.
Paquin and Moyer’s wedding was supposed to be intended as a quite private event as they exchanged their vows only with family, friends, colleagues and other stars and staff of their TV show including creator Alan Ball. Co-stars that were present are Sam Trammell (Sam Merlotte), Ryan Kwanten (Jason Stackhouse), Carrie Preston (Arlene Fowler) and Rutina Wesley (Tara Thronton).
Indeed, it was a very intimate and private wedding thus there were no official photos shared, but paparazzi managed to capture a few shots, including those of the after-wedding celebration. Anna Paquin appeared gorgeous in her simple Marilyn Monroe halter neck style wedding dress, while Moyer looked as handsome in his black suit.
Both of the couple were never married but Stephen has two children from previous relationships. Fans most probably know this already, but for the record, Moyer is now 40 and Paquin is 28. Well, at least he is not as old as his character Bill Compton is.
