Posted by Asher Roth is a young star who has presented us with a lot of surprises during his career. He is definitely not someone whom you would think of as a rap star, but he proved us wrong then. Now, he is the only hip hop star to come out of the closet on TV and announce proudly to the world his sexuality.
Roth was born in 1985 and started releasing albums in 2009. He was recently seen at a Gay Rights Parade which was also attended by stars such as Clay Aiken, Lady Gaga, Michael Stip, and Blink 182. This led many people to believe that he might have been gay, but at that point nothing had been announced yet. Now, he is scheduled to come on E-News sometime this winter season to announce that he is coming out of the closet. Roth says that he is comfortable with his sexuality and is happy knowing that he is not alone in his lifestyle.
Asher is not the only one that has decided to come out of the closet lately; he has joined ranks with Clay Aiken and other stars. Whether or not this will compel others to come out of the closet, we will have to see.
