Posted by The family sports pub chain “Beef ‘O’ Brady’s” has decided to spend around $5,000,000 in order to be the title sponsor of the St. Petersburg Bowl for two years. Beef ‘O’ Brady’s has over 260 pubs across the USA, and is the smallest business to gain the title sponsorship of the St. Petersburg Bowl, a college football game. They decided to spend a lot on this sponsorship since they needed the marketing, especially in this low economy.
Beef ‘O’ Brady’s has gained naming rights to the game as well with its two year deal. This year, it will be called “The St. Petersburg Bowl, presented by Beef ‘O’ Brady’s” but next year it will be titled “The Beef ‘O’ Brady’s Bowl”. They will also get several ads during the games, which will definitely gain them more customers and fans. The St. Petersburg Bowl was created by and is owned by ESPN Regional and was first sponsored by magicJack a VOIP system that didn’t return for the second round of the games.
Although most people might think that the deal is risky for such a small franchise, their investment will definitely give them back more with a lot more business. Beef ‘O’ Brady’s is sure to become a household name soon enough, especially amongst football enthusiasts.
