The lives of the rich and famous have never been a smooth road, no matter how they and we, wish it was. Stars go through trials and tribulations just like the rest of us do, and Beyoncé’s family is no different.
Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, has been reported to have filed for divorce in November from her husband of 29 years, Matthew Knowles. They had worked together to build their daughters’, Beyoncé and Solange, careers. Tina designed their costumes and costumes for Destiney’s Child as well. And she even created a fashion line called House of Dereon in cooperation with her daughter Beyoncé. Matthew, on the other hand, had managed their careers from behind the scenes.
Although it has not been confirmed yet, one of the reasons behind the filing of this divorce could be the filing of a paternity suit against Matthew Knowles by Alexsandra Wright. When she filed the case, she was six months pregnant with a child that she claimed was Matthew’s. The case was filed in October, a month before the divorce papers were filed.
The papers stated that they had stopped living together on January 5, 2009 which happens to be their wedding anniversary. Could this mean the end of the Knowles’ marriage? Well, we’ll just have to wait and see.
