Also, I am no expert, but I am guessing that the first goal was to get all the massive wounds closed and have enough excess material for the plastic surgeons to utilize in later procedures. Still, she was horribly disfigured. No matter what, it will not look natural, because it isn't. Poor thing! I wish her well. That chimp would have taken that machette away from you and mauled you too! PS this is what Chimps do to each other in the wild when they fight to the death. Chimps actually have been documented going on organized war parties against stray members of other colonies, and they victems are mauled in the same way.
