Del Mar Thoroughbred Club is one of the few race tracks located in California that is acquiring large numbers of visitors and fans. The 71st racing season will be held at this race track.

San Diego Sheriff’s Department and the “Avoid” Dui Task Force Partners had joined forces to ensure that the Roadways are safe for the opening day of the Del Mar Thoroughbred Horse Racing Festivities on Wednesday Evening, July 21, 2010 from 4:00 in the afternoon until midnight. Admission tickets are priced at $10-$20 for the opening day and $6-$10 on regular days.
Everyone is thrilled and is preparing to place their bets. Each one has their own theory of how to pick the wining horse. Before the start of the races, track hosts newcomers have held an assembly to give tips on how to pick the sure winner. The said Newcomer’s seminar allows interested individuals to have knowledge on the basics of horse racing and placing bets strategies.
It was found out that there were many newcomers who were placing bets in connection with their personal intuition. Others just see it as depending on luck of the draw while some do special analysis of the data found in the newspapers. The rest would just place their bets on the horse with the best names. Placing bets can be done every Wednesday to Sunday starting today until September 8. Good luck!
