Drawn Together is an American animated television series shown on Comedy Central from October 27 to November 14, 2007. Rated as an adult comedy series, this show had been created by Dave Jesser and Matt Silverstein. The said show wasn’t that bad and had been able to receive quite good review rating from the viewers. However, it was one of the shows that was said to be aired not in time.
It had been overshadowed by the famous then South Park and thus resulting to two frustrated producers and the cancellation of the show. Although the potential of the said show had been seen if only released in other circumstances, still it is not enough to keep up with the production costs.
However, never giving up, the producers of the show tried their luck again, remaking the TV series into one full pack movie. Having the plot of the show, the Drawn Together Movie: The Movie is expected to raise fan awareness as well as revive the TV show. Still having the same plot as with the TV series, the movie had been packed with the same bunch of characters showing different personalities, focusing on their idiotic characters and making fun of real people, movies events and ideas.
Also, in celebration of the Drawn Toegther Movie: The Movie, it will be available in DVD starting the 20th of April and will be having its downloadable format.
With all of these, are we expecting another wave of this animated series to hit our televisions?
