George Huguely, a University of Virginia lacrosse player was charged 1st degree murder this morning after killing his girlfriend Yeardley Love another student of the same University.
It was 2:15 am, Monday morning when 911 responded a call about a said possible alcohol overdose but police were shocked when they arrived at the scene and saw that it was worst than what they expected. The body of Yeardley Love, a 22 year old 4 year lax player was found in her apartment at 222 14th Street. Her body was visible for physical trauma and injuries. Efforts were made to revive her but was declared dead on arrival at the Unversity of Virginia Medical Center.
George Huguely a senior from Chevy Chase, Md is currently jailed at Albermarle Charlottesville Regional Jail. Police had not yet disclosed futher information about the death of Love but they believe that it doesn’t involve any weapon.
Yeardley Love also a senior from Cockeysville, Md is considered an angel by many and her death was not that easy for them to accept. She was sharing the same apartment with other two borders who were not around during the crime.
