For the two days audition at Los Angeles, 17 comic contestants were able to land a spot in the semifinals, and one of which is Guy Torry. Torry is an African American actor and comedian and the brother of another actor and comedian Joe Torry. He got married to Monica Askew in 2002.
Guy Torry or Robert Guy Torry had been able to made roles in several movies as well as appearances on television shows. He also worked as a host for television shows, and was a well known provider in terms of financial and emotional help to several charities. He was known to be a risk taker and always ready to venture out for experimentation but always remained loyal to comedy. For him comedy is his priority in life and his career.
He believed that Hollywood always appreciates people who are multi-talented. His talents had already been appreciated as he was chosen as one of the best comic during last night’s show. So we better see how far his talents would bring him.

Yeah, when I first saw Torry walk out, I thought it was a joke like when they showed Craig Robinson "auditioning." I mean, are the Hanson brothers going to audition for the next American Idol?
