Posted by One of the most indemand young comedians of the country, Iliza Vie Shlesinger had surely been making her star shine so bright. Winning the 6th Season of the famous NBC’s “Last Comic Standing”, an American Reality television talent show aiming to select a comedian from a group of aspirants, the 27 year old Dallas Native had now been starting to mark her own name as a comedian.
Iliza Vie Shlesinger, an American Jewish from Dallas Texas had been the first female and also the youngest to won the said reality television show. She is now very busy with her hectic schedule, having The Last Comic Standing Tour as one on her list with her four co aspirants. Eventhough with her contsnt touring, she is still able to record her own show, Comedy Central Presents which started airing on April 16 exactly at 10:30 pm.
With her being funny, witty, razor sharp and getting plenty of exposures lately landed her prime spot at the Howard Stern Show. As one of the newbies in the industry, just starting to carve her name, she is already faced with many issues regarding her past life, one of which as being a Stripper, which she pompously admits. She worked for a strip club for a few days when she needed money before beginning college, however she cleared that she wasn’t doing the dancing. It might be due to this experience that she was able to create funny materials for her show.
She may not be that pretty, yet her talent had been bringing her to the top. Asked what’s her goal now considering her constant success, “Now I want everything. I want to have my own talk show, I want to do comedic acting, write my own stuff, do cartoons … want to be happy at being funny for a living.”
