Early Saturday morning Police Officers found the dead body of Tracy Banks in a house at Manchester Street. She died due to multiple gunshot wounds. Also found lying at a nearby Stop Sign at the corner of Manchester and Oakwood is Jamel Turner who was also shot. The 18 year old football recruit was taken to Saint Elizabeth hospital.
Turner had played for Ursuline High School and later joined the Military Academy which he had left later and had joined the Ohio state football team. He plays in the defensive side and had joined the Ohio State team five months ago. He is known to be a great football player. Because of his good traits, he was admired by his coach and team mates.
Turner is said to be in critical condition and that no further word about his current condition is being released. It was not the first time that he had been shot. In April he was reported to receive a gun shot wound but it wasn’t that serious.
Police are still on search for Melvin Shaw of Youngstown who is the boyfriend of Shaw. The 18 year old boy is a suspect in the said incident. The motive and reason behind the killing is still not clear.
