He was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He is a proud gay, what a brave man, he openly accepts that he is a gay without any inhibitions. I kinda admire him for his revelation – similar with former latin sensation Ricky Martin coming out of the closet. Groff didn’t mind what would other people say or the inherent consequences of his actions. He didn’t mind of the people who will condemned him because of it. Jonathan is a respectable human being, that I can attest.
Jonathan Groff is so talented and because of that he gets a lot of nominations especially in his role in Spring Awakening where he was nominated for Drama Desk Award. He was also nominated as best leading actor in musical for his UN paid performances.
Jonathan Groff became a good friend of Lea Michelle; lea is a co star of Jonathan in Spring Awakening. Other than his celebrity-like career, he also became an acting instructor to children, what a man he is! I really adore this man for having a lot of talent especially while performing in Broadway
