Posted by Layla Trawick, 34 years old from Antioch, Canada was arrested after stabbing 4 people in Target store at La Brea Avenue and Santa Monica Boulevard. Monday at 12:45 pm, the suspect entered the said store and started randomly attacking shppers. She was carrying with her a butcher knife and a steak knife which she used to do the crime. Trawick hurt 4 shoppers, 3 women and a man and left 1 victim in critical condition, all were rushed to a local hospital.
Detectives from Los Angeles Country Sherrifs Department couldn’t determine yet the reson for her attack. But a witness said that Trawick entered the store and strated yelling that she was a bipolar and that there’s no witness protection prgram.
Off-duty deputy Cray Grant Jr was the one who assisted in the crime. He was also shopping in the same store at that time and was fast enough to act upon seeing Trawick holding the 2 bloody knifes and parading up and down the store. The 26 year old deputy drew his gun immediately and orderd Trawick For now, the case is not clear, motive is not determined and charges are yet to be filed.
