The Liberty Bowl remains to be one of the most must-see events as it showcases the abilities and expertise of the college-level football players of American doing what they do best: play the game. It runs from December up to January of the following year, ending and starting the year with good games and possibly new records and titles for the season.
During the most recent game, 80s rocker Eddie Money wowed the crowd by performing prior to the game with mini concert. He performed his well known hits and some Christmas songs for everyone to enjoy. Despite having nearly released his singles like ‘Two tickets to heaven’ and ‘Baby Hold on To Me’ more than thirty years ago, the singer still managed to have a good control of the crowd, greatly entertaining them with his performance. It was both shocking and surprising, as well as a delight to hear these classics being sang live.
Money professed that he had not been expecting such a huge crowd so soon but was glad to have been able to perform. The crowd which were composed mostly of people who have yet to be born during his time were still able to appreciate and were rocking to the singer’s tunes like any recently sung stars of their time. The mini concert is part of his chain of concerts called ‘Rock4Xmas’ which intends to promote his new album and raise funds for children’s rights and cause. A children’s rights advocate, it has become the singer’s goal to be able to protect the rights and future of children worldwide starting with his own and through efforts like Rock4Xmas.
