Lowell Folk Festival is one of the many traditional festivals in the US. The said activity runs for 3 days and is free of admission. Yes, you don’t need to pay anything to be able to participate in the said event.

The yearly Lowell Folk Festival brings people to travel around the world without living the place. It’s like traveling from nation to nation by just listening to different music. Great musicians perform traditional music from different places during the event. Music is considered a language which can be understood by everyone. It is a uniting factor for people living from different places.
Aside from great music, there are also delectable food choices available to better exhibit the culture and lives of people from different parts of the world. Participants are all enticed to try the different ethnic cuisines laid at the table which are provided by people from local communities. Usually, 12 cultures are presented during the festival.
Lowell Folk Festival for this year will feature western swing of Hot Club of Cowtown, Louisiana dance music from the Bruce Daigrepont Cajun Band, the bluegrass of Steep Canyon Rangers, the urban dance funk of Beat Ya Feet Kings with Black Alley and music from Latin America, Korea, Armenia, Egypt, Ireland, India and Cape Verde.
Participants should also expect for activities such as Food ways, Art in the Courtyard, Exhibit of heritage crafts and many others. The said festival is already 23 years old but still it offers excitement for both local as well as foreigners every year.
