MaLinda Sapp, wife of gospel singer Pastor Marvin Sapp, died last Thursday, September 9, 2010 after 18 months of struggling against her colon cancer. Family and friends gathered Thursday night to offer prayers for her.

After undergoing treatments, it came to a point that doctors said there are no signs of cancer that can be found in her. Unfortunately, at the start of year 2010, it was found that the cancer have gone widespread.
MaLinda Sapp was a psychologists and an influential speaker. She and her husband served the Lighthouse Full Life Center Church in Grand Rapids. MaLinda was also a professor in Grand Rapids local community college. The couple have dedicated their lives to helping the community of Grand Rapids. She also acts as her husband’s manager and representative, who is also a famous gospel singer.
In 2008, Marvin Sapp made a set of sales record with his song Never Would Have Made it. He also made it to the top on Billboard’s gospel charts with his song The Best in Me. The couple had been married for more than 15 years and MaLinda left Marvin with their three children Marvin II, Mikaila and Madisson. Funeral arrangements for MaLinda were not yet announced.
