Esquire magazine’s sexiest woman alive for 2010 is no other than Minka Kelly. The 30-year-old actress who came to fame via the football themed television series Friday Night Lights is now the hottest woman according to the men’s magazine. Esquire marks each year with a feature on the woman whom they think is the epitome of female attractiveness.



Minka Kelly started her career as Lyla Garrity in the Friday Nights Light series from 2006 to 2009 wherein she was casted as a cheerleader. She then went to small roles on other television series and films like the TV sitcom What I Like About You, and the movie State’s Evidence. She landed a cameo role in Jamie Foxx’s The Kingdom and proved herself as a versatile actress during her short stint in the movie.
Her recent movie project, The Roommate, an upcoming thriller for theaters, casts her as the lead actress in a role alongside Leighton Meester. She plays the role of Sara, a college freshman, stuck with Rebecca (Meester) whom she thought was a normal friend. Apparently Rebecca is targeting people in Sara’s life as the friendship turned to deadly obsession.
Kelly was born in Los Angeles, California. Her father is lead guitarist Rick Dufay of the rock band, Aerosmith.
