Posted by The 17th day of February is the sixth official day coverage of NBC for the Winter Olympics in Vancouver. Up to this day, Germany has been topping the medal counts while the United States is at rank two.
Germany has already collected nine medals (three of which are gold medals), United States now has eight medal. France follows US at third rank with seven medals. Canada only gets the fourth spot with five medals and Korea on the fifth place with 4 medals.
NBC, however, has not been feeding live events of the Olympic games in an effort to protect their right in broadcasting the 2010 Olympics. Should the International Olympic Committee find any video uploaded on Youtube or any video sites, the committee will surely remove and take them all out.
This sixth day’s Olympic events started off with the women curling game for the top two countries, Germany and United States. At noon, games for Men Hockey will be played between Finland and Belarus. Also at noon time will be the Women’s Ice Hockey game competed by Canada and Sweden. Indeed all eyes from all participating countries are on the lookout on how events are turning out for the 2010 Winter Olympics. At three in the afternoon, the Cross Country men’s and women’s sprint will commence
