Nick Schuyler, popularly known as Nick Skyler will disclose in Oprah today his ordeal a year ago where he was the only sole survivor in a deep-sea fishing accident.
In a book of Nick Schuyler entitled “Not Without Hope” that will come out today will tell inside stories of the tragedy, he wrote what to make it through the difficult year, he hung on past endurance. And of course the feeling of guilt, survivor’s guilt he confessed.

Barely a year ago, Skyler was in a boat with four men who were athletes and who were in their prime. The four shoved off intent on spending relaxing Saturday deep-sea fishing. They were fishing about 75 miles off the coast of Clearwater, Fla when they meet the accident. Two days after they were supposed to come home, three of the four men were dead leaving Schuyler as the sole survivor.
The survivor wrote the book, believing he owed it to the families and friends of those who died.
The making of this book was made possible with the help of sports reporter Jere Longman. Skyler describes his work as a compelling memoir wherein the accident is described in stunning detail.
