Posted by Paper Tongues is a band which comes from Charlotte, North Carolina. They started out in 2007, and are going to release their debut album soon. They play rock n’ roll and hip hop fusion songs, making for a very unique and infectious sound. The members are Aswan North, Devin Forbes, Cody Blackler, Joey Signa, Clayton Simon, Jordon Hardee, and Danny Santell.
The band is a very influential group. Lead singer Aswan North helped found the Inprov Music Experience, where bands and artists get together to play for the homeless and unfortunate. He has a vibrant and lively vocal style, and it helps add color to the band. They plan to be the best they can be from the inside out. They say that they do not want to start a revolution, but help change people from the inside. Paper Tongues sets out to heal people from their problems.
Their first album will feature their single “Ride to California” along with many other tracks that are eccentric and captivating. They incorporate rock, rap, soul, r & b and electronic sounds into their music, and it is a genre that everyone can like. They are also giving their single “Ride to California” for free to download. And they are now going on tour with Switchfoot.
