It is in a very accessible are, within a mile from Seattle’s business district. Every year, it has over 1.5 million visitors and hosts more than three hundred events.

The stadium was planned back in 1997 when voters decided to fund a new stadium and sports area. There is enough space for around 67,000 people and it is equipped with modern facilities and it is open-air. It was the first stadium to put in an artificial field using FieldTurf.
