Hollywood actor Randy Quaid and his wife, Evi, were arrested because of squatting and burglary at a Santa Barbara, California house that used to be theirs.

A representative of the house’s present owners reported to the Santa Barbara authorities last Saturday that there were squatters in the house. When the officials got to the location, they had found the Quaids who claimed and insisted that they own the house since 1990s. The true owner’s representative, on the other hand, was able to present necessary documents that proved his client’s ownership of the property.
Randy, whose films included the 2005 “Brokeback Mountain” and is brother to Dennis Quaid, is now facing charges of burglary, squatting and illegally entering an infrastructure or building, alongside with his wife, Evi.
This is not the first time the couple became the subject of misconducts. Early this year, they were also arrested on trying to skip to pay their bills in a hotel in California. Randy’s wife paid $10,500 for that incident and she did not deny the accusation that they had deceived the hotel’s innkeeper.
The couple’s lawyer handling the case could not be reached for comment. For sure, this won’t be the last time these two will make news headline.
