A couple of days ago, a prank news had circulated stating that Disney starlet and American singer Miley Cyrus had died now, a true accident happened but thankfully the teen icon is free from harm.
It was reported that a tour bus belonging to Miley Cyrus overturned on Interstate 85 Dinwiddie County, Virginia overnight. One person was killed and at least 9 were seriously injured because of this accident.
The crash occurred at I-85 south near mile marker 56 in Dinwiddie County, which is about 45-minutes south of Richmond, Virginia. According to police reports, there were a total of 15 passengers on board when the bus went out of control and flipped on its side Thursday night. Miley was reportedly on a bus that was part of a 4-vehicle caravan, which included the bus that overturned. The driver of the bus was killed on impact.

A supposedly happy field trip had turned into a tragedy. Police said the road was slippery due to heavy rainfall thursday evening but they were still not accounting other causes of the accident. The driver’s identity is still unidentified due to pending notification from its relatives.
Update November 21, 2009:
The tour bus driver was identified as William G. Douglas, 53 years old and a resident from Austin Texas. He was known by many as “Uncle Bill” and the only person who died in this tragic accident.
