Posted by The Smartmatic-TIM consortium recently recently gave Yahoo Southeast Asia a video guide on automated polls. The video tackled procedures on how voters should cast their votes, how to properly write on their ballots, dos and dont’s of shading ballots and how votes will be counted. Entitled: A Quick Guide to the Automated Elections, check the video file below.
However, we aren’t sure if this is the “Final and Official guide” that will be followed by voters on the forthcoming 2010 Philippine elections. The guide looks legit but no resources (website/link/email) were given to link back to either Smartmatic or TIM. We have high hopes that this system will work the way it was demoed.
