An avid Texas Ranger fan fell from the upper deck of the Rangers Ballpark Stadium while watching the game between Major League Baseball superstars Texas Rangers and Cleaveland Indians.

This happened after Nelson Cruz of the famed Texas Rangers hit a foul ball that went in the second deck of the stadium that sent this fan who tried to capture the ball falling thirty feet below.
This occurred during the Monday night games last July 6, 2010. It caused a fifteen minute delay during the fifth inning of the game that the said fan reached out to catch the ball.
The extent of injuries suffered by that fan was yet unknown. But paramedics who attended to him were able to rush him at the John Peter Smith Hospital where he was stabilized. This was reported by John Blake, the Executive Vice President for Communications of the Texas Rangers.
He further announced that this fan was responsive to the paramedics and he was also able to move all his extremities.
Texas Ranger officials added that there were four other fans who were injured. They received immediate treatment at the stadium.
Team President Nolan Ryan expressed his concern for the fan and the four others who were injured. He also commended their emergency staff for doing the best they could to attend to them.
