Theodor Suess Geisel, also popularly known to billions of American children as Dr. Suess celebrates his 106th birthday on March 2, 2010. He is considered as one of the much beloved children’s author in the globe.

Dr. Seuss died in 1991, but his contributions in the Children’s book remain, his books became an all-time favorite of American children. One good example is “One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish; The Cat in The Hat and Green Eggs and Ham”.  Geisel’s work not only caught children’s’ attention because of his interesting stories but the distinctive and unique rhyming patterns and colorful style of illustration.

It has been almost two decades since Dr. Seuss died but his works remains in the memory of those who read his book. That’s why until now, his birthday is still being commemorated as if a hero.
