Two-year old Layla Grace has lost her battle to Neuroblastoma. The Twitter angel bade goodbye to the world and went to her angels in Heaven just this morning. Layla Grace, who was born last November 26, 2007, went home to be with the Lord this morning! Even though her time on earth was short, this little girl touched so many people’s lives!
The bad news broke the hearts of so many who followed her story on Twitter as her parents took to Twitter to spread the word and raise awareness about this disease.
Many have followed the story of Layla Grace because her parents made and updated a blog on their website www.laylagrace.org., informing the public of this kind of disease and asking for prayers for their little angel.
Based from the record, there are about 650 new cases of Neuroblastoma each year in the United States and 50% of those occur in children under the age of two.
Prayers are now asked for Layla’s bereaved family. One can not even begin to imagine what they must be going through right now! Her dad is in her room, talking to her and comforting her even dead. Her mother on the other hand is not doing well at all.
