Are you ready for this year’s Olympics exclusively happening in Vancouver? Well this one will again be another winter Olympics which will official start on February 12 (tomorrow) and will last till February 28! This will the third Olympics that will be happening in Canada while it would be the first for British Columbia.
To mark the event Stussy has made a special shirt as remembrance and the high-light of their shirts fit the Winter Olympics. The collection includes hockey-themed artwork that showcases old school goalie mask and pucks and these shirts will be out for retail at Stussy store in Vancouver. The event will cost $1.76 billion and the funds were raised from non-government institute, sponsorships and auctions of the national broadcasting rights.
If you think this is big for the event it’s pretty much just the 10% of the estimated revenue of $10 billion. The venues where the sports for this event will be held are Richmond Olympic Oval and BC Place Stadium will be the place where the opening and closing ceremony will take place. It will be broadcasted worldwide but for Canada it will only be the Olympic Brodcasting Services Vancouver was able to get the exclusivity to get media coverage of the said event.
