unemployment Wisconsin Unemployment Claim On March 10The Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development is scheduled to release the Wisconsin Unemployment Rate report on March 10, 2010. In December last year, the figure for the Wisconsin Unemployment Rate results to 8.3%. The rate in the state is less than the latest figures from the U.S. Bureau of Statistics at 9.7%.

According to report, the national rates particularly the number of jobs has been decreased by 36,000 last month which surprised many experts.  About 36,000 jobs were cut nationwide on the said month, as stated by the Labor Department’s Bureau of Labor Statistics.

A larger loss in job due to extreme snowfall in many parts of the country in February is assumed by some experts and analysts. The 36,000 job losses mostly felt in the field of the Information and Construction, according to the report released recently by Bureau of Labor Statistics, while temporary help services added jobs.
Labor market information for January until March 10 won’t be issued  by the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development. February data will be released March 24.

Paul Ashworth, senior U.S. economist with Capital Economics in Toronto, called the more than 36, 00 job losses as a challenge and encouraging number to stabilize employment.
