Hungarian-American actress Zsa Zsa Gabor now 93 is taken to UCLA Medical Center after being unconscious last Tuesday, August 31, 2010. Rumors spread that the actress was already dead but she is very much alive and is under observation by doctors.
According to her spokesman, John Blanchette, her husband found her in pain Tuesday morning and noticed that the actress is “not responsive.” Frederic Von Anhalt, her husband, immediately called 911 and the ambulance brought her to the hospital just in time. The doctors were able to stabilize her.
Gabor was hospitalized last July 2010 when she broke her hip. She fell from her bed while watching the TV game show Jeopardy. She underwent surgery for two days. In August, she also received medical attention when a blood clot has to be removed. This time, there are no updates yet regarding the cause of the actress’ unconsciousness but doctors said that her condition is not life threatening.
Gabor is married to Frederic Von Anhalt for 24 years. This is Gabor’s ninth and longest marriage. She had divorces seven times and one annulled marriage. The actress had many films and television appearances. She also had roles in Broadway, one of which is in Forty Carats and in the play Blithe Spirit.
