Here’s a not so cool news coming from the inner depths of the blogosphere reporting about a recently spotted 9 inch Pandigital Novel (colored tablet) on the shelf of QVC. At first glance you might mistaken this leak as a hoax but it turns out the-digital-reader has a proof of purchase in which our guy manages to see the actual price of the Tablet e-reader device hanging at 213.80 USD, which is somewhat not so welcoming to hear because its other sibling (7 incher version) cost less than 200 bucks. So far, there’s no eye candy for the 9 inch Pandigital Novel except for its usual stuff like: A resistive touchscreen, Barnes and Nobles e-book store access to applications, 2GB internal storage capacity, MicroSD slot (expandable up to Nth GB), WiFi connectivity, and it has the usual core-apps like Facebook, Browser, Gmail, etc. Since it’s using Android for its platform. Don’t forget, this one is made in China.

So far, the debut of the Pandigital Novel last June through its 7-inch younger brother managed to titillate our minds just because at that time, a colored e-reader was very rare. But today, even its partnering company B&N has managed to revealed the Nook Color which is a stab in the heart for this once promising e-reader gadget. Still a good device though, but not amazing – Got that?
