Acer has recently launched its very own 4.8-inch Android Smartphone in its latest Global Press Event held in New York City.

The “still unnamed” smartphone combines the functionality of a smartphone along with a tablet-like form. Hence that it has 4.8” widescreen and 21:9 Aspect Ratio.
The slightly curved, thin, and stretched out device is covered in full metal body. It runs on Android along with its 1GHz Snapdragon processor. Aside from that, it also features 2MP front-facing camera, 8MP rear-facing camera with LED flash, 720p video recording, LED edge lighting, six-axis Gyroscope + accelerometer, 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, HSDPA support, HDMI output, Adobe Flash Player 10.1 support, JavaScript optimization, Dolby Mobile technology, and some handy mobile apps.
With this device, there’s no need to resize browsers or scroll them left and right. It’s like browsing on a traditional pc. Isn’t that great?
No doubt Acer calls this as 100% Smartphone, 100% tablet!

And here’s a tip, this mysterious unnamed smartphone is due to be released on April 2011. However, No specific price has been announced yet.
