Acer will formally announce their new product this upcoming week. They are going to amaze people by their Acer Aspire TimelineX 1830T. It is an 11.6 inch laptop with a detailed inch thick chassis. This 1830T is equipped by an Intel Core i5-520UM processor with a clock speed ranging from 1.06GHz to 1.86GHz (dual-core) and a resolution of 1366×768 pixel display.
Back up with an Intel HM55 chipset capable of 166MHz to 500MHz for its graphics so the laptop can manage to cater HD video playback but not enough to support for some 3D games. Its WiFi is compatible with 802.11b/gn and it also has a 6 cell-battery that can last for 8 hours. Acer Aspire TimelineX 1830T’s ports and connectivity is geared with a gigabit Ethernet, HDMI output, S/PDIF, a multi card reader and three USB 2.0. As for the 3G and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, are left to be optional. In addition to the 1830T’s configuration, it is said to have a 2GB of RAM and 160GB of hard drive.
The price of this device is still kept confidential. For more details, we just have to wait for its debut. Its keyboard is as usual very good for typing or so. It has a full sized keyboard that is obviously flat if you will check the corresponding pictures. If you compare this new product from Acer to the other previous models they have release, you will see quite a lot of similarities. Some buttons are just switched and the port arrangements are the same. Acer focused on upgrading its processor to dynamically increase its speed but still it has to consider a lot of things before specifically defining its over-all performance. The processor they used in this one is entitled by Intel as the turbo boost. So as expected, this is much faster than the other models from Acer.
