Acer has been busy quite lately and by that we mean that it has done some works on its TimelineX series laptops. The thin or rather skinny TimelineX series laptops have been given fresh new looks. Suffice to say, the laptops were revamped and given an added juice.

The 5830T like its siblings – 3830T and 4830T – has a two-tone aluminum design. It’s also available in black if one doesn’t have the feel on its two-tone color design. The 5830T sports a 15.6-inch high definition widescreen CineCrystal LED backlit display which gives a 1366×768 resolution and 16:90 aspect ratio. Under the hood is the 2nd Generation Intel Core i3-2310M Processor with a clock speed of 2.1GHz. It also comes with a 4096MB DDR3 Dual-Channel 1066MHz Memory. Graphics is provided by IntelHD Graphics 3000 that has a 128 dedicated system memory.
Storage isn’t a problem as it has a 640GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive. There’s also a 1.3-MP HD webcam, multi-in-1 digital media card reader, WiFi and Bluetooth. Audio is quite nice given that there are two (2) built-in Acer 3DSonic Stereo Speakers as well as Dolby’s Advanced Home Theater v4 audio enhancement. Acer has also provided it with an HDMI port, VGA port, touchpad, dedicated numeric keypad and media control buttons.
The Acer Aspire TimelineX 5830T is already available and owning one cost about $599.99.
