For those who travel a lot and like a compact laptop that goes not too heavy on the budget but still retains its high-end specs, you might have heard the Acer Travelmate Timeline this year packing up to Core i7 rig with AMD Radeon for its GPU.
As of today, Acer America officially announces its next-generation series that will upgrade Travel Timeline 8473 and 6495 laptops as well as the 8573 and 6595 models.
With the latest Intel Sandy Bridge CPU, these new notebooks will be capable of delivering up to 60% more power than its predecessors, packing with Intel HD Graphics 300 this time plus its Optimus technology cranking its graphics performance while conserving the unit’s battery consumption. Meanwhile, customers would be able to customize each laptop with up to 8GB DDR3 RAM, a choice of 750GB for its Hard Drive or 120GB SSD (Solid State Disk) for faster data transfer along with a USB 3.0 port that enhances transferring speed for different external devices.
Other goodies will include Ethernet, WiFi & Bluetooth support, integrated webcam with microphone and newly improved battery touted by the company to last up to eight hours on continuous usage. Meanwhile, 6495 and 6595 notebooks will have Intel vPro and Anti-theft technology infused on its system so users can locate and remotely-access their laptops when lost.
