During the past few days, we’ve been hearing a lot of possible rumor-mills of new Alienware laptops aside from the Sandy-fied M17x w/ Klipsch speakers. Obviously, a lot were asking if there’ll be any available update for the smallest Alienware notebook, the M11x, which still holds the title of one of the most powerful 11-incher laptop in the world.
Well, it appears all your hopes have managed to reach Dell, as a manual magically appeared on the blogosphere revealing this laptop will have a Sandy Bridge and video-card upgrade too!
For its details, the new Alienware M11x is expected to come with Core i5 and Core i7 second-gen Sandy Bridge processors, packing with DDR3 1333MHz RAM instead of the age-old 800MHz clock, 2MP camera; supports the latest HD TrueLife LCD for its display, and this one will have 3G or even 4G broadband connectivity. Last but not the least is its GPU upgrade! Yes folks, rather than the usual GeForce GT335M flavor, this one will received the NVIDIA GeForce GT540M video-card w/ 1GB-2GB virtual memory. How bout we skip the chat and test Crysis 2 on this one now, huh?
Likewise, this will undergo a undisclosed release date and price details. Anyway, there’s a strong possibility the new M11x will be launched on the same time with M14x and M11X R3 this quarter, provided this manual isn’t just a joke.
