As you can see, Dell didn’t provide any new series of Alienware laptops for this year’s CES event unlike last year when it had revealed the most powerful 11-incher laptop on the planet in the form of Alienware M11x.
Well, it appears a new leak just popped out from nowhere confirming the possibility of the next generation for M11x which is now called Alienware M11X R3. While its still a “concealed” device, some of its specifications are already revealed like utilizing an 11.6-inch TruLife glossy display w/ 1366 x 768 resolution + White-LED backlight, will run with three optional second generation Intel Sandy Bridge CPU: Core i5-2573M 1.4GHz – 2.3GHz, Core i7-2617M 1.5GHz – 2.6GHz or Core i7-2657M 1.6GHz – 2.7GHz. Additionally, its RAM is set up to 8GB 1333MHz DDR, Hard Drive up to 720GB or an optional SSD storage solution of 256GB Samsung P810 unit. Other goodies include, 3G / Wimax 4G support, and it’s powered by an 8-cell battery.
Again, should this laptop came out from its rumor-shell, this could be one of the most powerful 11-incher laptop today, and the first to utilize WiMax 4G. Price expected to be revealed on its rumored release date this April.
