Honestly? There’s so much more in the tech-world than seeing fanboys hating other fanboys for the smartphone supremacy of their choice. Seriously? If you’ll just open your eyes and embrace what’s in front of you, you’ll see that hardware products such as graphics-card could be a source of an amazing debacle for enthusiast too. And this is how the cookie crumbles for AMD Radeon today as it reveals what could be, the next most powerful video card in the world.
Sure, this AMD Radeon HD 6990 is a dual-GPU unit and it shouldn’t be compared with those single-core monsters from NVDIA. But so far, if we’re merely talking about the word “fastest” then I must say, I will put my solid bet that the HD 6990 would be up for that title. For those who are interested, this series will be the direct descendant of the ATI HD 5970 (current world’s fastest video card on the planet) and so far, I’m still not seeing any alternatives over the green team yet.
Coming from the AMD conference today in Japan, this card will be larger than the 5970 and expect that it would be high-end. Sorry, but that’s all for now folks as its specs is still not yet revealed. Maybe we’ll see this one showcased again next week!
