If you are a fan of AMD throughout the years, probably you will feel quite dismayed of how it stops to be competitive against the Blue team. Anyway, you might get some glee upon hearing this news from the company as it recently reveals it four-core and octo-core processors going to be rolled out on 2011 and 2012 and mind you, the names are like coined from the tantraic-sex gods – if you know what I mean?

The thing that you should be looking for right now is Krishna and Wichita: A four core 28nm APU based next-gen CPU core DirectX 11 capable GPU. There’s also a Trinity brand — 32 NM ‘bulldozer’ AMD type of CPU. And the Komodo which is the ‘octo-core’ CPU of AMD powered by its ‘bulldozer’ series. And if you think that’s not insane enough, there will be Terramar and Sepang – both 32nm CPU which can scale up to 20 and 10 CPU cores, respectively. They are the ones which will be ready on 2012 – Hopefully, its not the end of the world at that time (Mayans).
Interestingly, the Green company revealed that Bulldozer and Bobcat type of CPU will be both used for Desktop and Notebooks and unlike the one we’re hearing before that they are only categorize for one class. So far, Intel has not yet unleashed its beast, so for the meantime enjoy these roadmaps!
